Most properties receive two kerbside collections each week. The black wheelie bin collects general household waste every week. The blue bin collects recycling every two weeks — accepted items include paper, cardboard, plastic bottles, cans, tins and aerosols. Portsmouth does not currently operate a kerbside food waste or garden waste collection service. Bins should be placed at the edge of your property by 7am on your collection day.
