BCP Council Bin Collection Dates

BCP Council (Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole) serves around 195,000 households across the three towns and the surrounding area. General waste and recycling are collected on alternate fortnightly weeks — your black bin and blue bin never go out on the same day. Check your dates below to see which week your street is on. Food waste is collected weekly in a 23-litre caddy. Food waste collections are currently available across Bournemouth and Christchurch and are rolling out to Poole — if food waste does not appear in your results, collections may not yet have started in your street. Garden waste is a paid annual subscription service, collected fortnightly between February and December. Only properties that have signed up will have a green garden waste bin collected. To subscribe, visit the BCP Council website. If your bin is missed, report it online at bcpcouncil.gov.uk or call 01202 123456 on the day of your collection. Bins must be out by 7 am. Household Waste Recycling Centres are located at Millhams Road, Longham (Bournemouth), Wilverley Road, Christchurch, and Nuffield Road, Poole. Most sites are open seven days a week — check the BCP Council website for individual site opening hours.
