London Borough of Enfield Bin Collection Dates

The London Borough of Enfield collects general waste (black bin) and recycling (blue bin) fortnightly on alternating weeks from around 120,000 households across the borough. The black bin accepts non-recyclable household waste. The blue recycling bin accepts paper and cardboard (flattened), glass bottles and jars, food tins and drink cans, plastic bottles, pots and tubs, aerosols and foil. Please rinse items and place loose in the bin — no bags. A garden waste collection (green bin) is available for eligible properties. The green bin accepts grass cuttings, leaves, hedge trimmings, weeds and small branches. A food waste caddy collection is also available — it accepts all cooked and raw food scraps. If your bin is missed, report it within 24 hours at enfield.gov.uk. Bins must be at the kerbside by 7 am on collection day. Collections may be adjusted around bank holidays — check the council website for confirmed alternative dates.
