Flintshire County Council covers approximately 65,000 households across Mold, Flint, Buckley, Connah's Quay, Holywell, Shotton, Queensferry and surrounding areas in north-east Wales. Most properties receive two kerbside collections. Your black bin (general household waste) is collected every two weeks. Your recycling and food waste are collected together every week, including on black bin weeks. If you subscribe to the garden waste service, your brown bin is collected every two weeks — garden waste collections are suspended from 1 December to the end of February each year.
