Most properties receive five kerbside services, all collected on the same day each week. Collections alternate fortnightly between two types of week. On Week A the black refuse bin collects general household waste, the brown garden waste bin collects food and garden waste, and the food waste caddy is collected. On Week B the blue recycling bin collects mixed recycling (paper, cardboard, plastic, cans and aerosols), the glass box collects glass bottles and jars, and the food waste caddy is again collected.
