Scottish Borders Council collects food waste, recycling and general waste from around 55,000 households across the region, covering Galashiels, Hawick, Kelso, Selkirk, Jedburgh, Melrose, Peebles and surrounding areas. Most properties receive three kerbside collections. The food caddy (23L) is collected weekly.
