Shropshire Council provides waste collection services to around 130,000 households across one of England's largest unitary authorities, covering Shrewsbury, Oswestry, Ludlow, Bridgnorth, Market Drayton, Whitchurch, Church Stretton and the many towns, villages and rural communities throughout the county. The grey wheelie bin is for non-recyclable household waste, collected fortnightly. The green recycling bin accepts paper, cardboard, glass bottles and jars, plastic bottles, tubs and trays, food and drink tins and cans — leave items clean, dry and loose, not in bags.
