This extended collection interval was introduced in July 2023 in line with Welsh Government targets to increase recycling rates across Wales. A maximum of three black bags per household is collected each time. Waste that can be recycled or composted should not be placed in the black bag.

Garden waste collections are available for registered households. During summer months garden waste is collected weekly alongside your other collections. During winter months collection is by booking. The garden waste service uses green bags. If your property is registered for garden waste, it will appear in your collection schedule automatically.
